2. Temple Newsam Estate
Grounds, playground, cafe and toilets open for local exercise.

3. Kirkstall Abbey
Kirkstall Abbey is fully open for all of your Cistercian monastic ruin needs, including the shop, which does sell ice cream. We’re open Tues – Sun, 10am – 4pm.
Over the road, the shop at Abbey House Museum will be open from 12th April.
4. Golden Acre Park
Car Park and grounds open, cafe operating takeaway service. Outdoor toilets open.
5. Roundhay Park
Car parks open and takeaway kiosk at The Lakeside Cafe (Daily 10am-5pm) serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice creams, BBQ (Weekends). Toilets available at the Mansion and playground are now open
Tropical World Cafe is also open for takeaways.
6. Meanwood Park
Car park open and Three Cottages Cafe at Meanwood Park open with a takeaway service (Payment by card only, strictly no cash and toilets remain closed).
7. Harewood House
Harewood’s spring season has begun, welcoming people back to enjoy its beautiful surroundings bursting into spring life, its gardens coming into bud, and to find a moment of respite from the last year. In line with dates to be re-confirmed by government, from Monday 29 March there’s no better place to re-meet friends and family as the rule of six comes back into play; our Courtyard Café, run by the Harewood Food & Drink Project, will be open again (for take away only until 17 May). The Harewood Bird Garden, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, will open on Monday 12 April, along with the Courtyard Shop.
8. Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, National Trust
The abbey and water garden at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal open for local exercise. Takeaway cafe, playground and toilets available.
9. Mother Shipton’s Cave
Easter Adventure opening on 27th march. Available beyond local exercise from 29th March.
10. Bolton Abbey Estate
Open for local exercise. Toilets, takeaway cafe also open.
11. Thorp Perrow Arboretum Wildlife Park
Now open. We are delighted that our Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre will be re-opening on Monday 12th April.

13. Nostell Priory National Trust, Wakefield
Parkland and gardens open with pre-bookable tickets. Takeaway refreshments.
The house and grounds are not yet open but you will be able to use the toilets.

15. Swithens Farm, Rothwell
Open from 12th April. Pre-bookable tickets. Whilst the outdoor play area is open, the soft play is currently closed. Meet & feed animals (tubs of food just 50p). Outdoor marquee & takeaway food available.

17. Oakwell Hall
Car park, grounds and mountain bike trails are open.

18. Newby Hall Gardens
Re-open. Pre-booking is required.
19. RHS Harlow Carr Gardens
Gardens open with pre-bookable tickets.
20. Benningbrough Hall, York
The car park, garden, parkland and toilets at Beningbrough wopen. You will need to book tickets before you visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. Booking for tickets will open every Friday, please note they will be turning people away who arrive and haven’t booked.

21. Dalby Forest
Only accessible for local exercise until 29th March.

22. Castle Howard
Castle Howard’s Gardens and Grounds will open for exercise. All visits will need to be pre-booked using the online booking system ONLY.
Skelf Island, the Adventure Playground are open. The House itself will remain closed along with the indoor cafe outlets. There will be some take away catering on offer and the Farm Shop and Garden Centre remain open.
23. Anglers Country Park
Car park, toilets, cafe and playarea now opena.
You can still walk around the lake and spot the Room on the Broom characters
24. Newmillerdam Country Park
Car park now open and Lakeside Restaurant operating a takeaway offering of ice creams, cakes and sandwiches
