I am very passionate about female fitness, and I believe women should carry on exercising throughout their pregnancy if able to do so.
If you’ve been given the all clear by your GP or midwife, then training whilst pregnant can offer a range of benefits for both you and your baby.

Classes range from birth right through primary school – there is something for everyone.
Baby Yoga starts from 12 weeks – crawling. Designed for parent and baby to do together, they nourish the natural development of your baby physically and mentally – helping to improve coordination, align hormones, contribute to brain development and improve sleep patterns. It also allows parents time to relax and unwind in a calm and gentle environment.
Stretch with Stories is for older babies up to age 4. In this faster-paced class we read a book and practice yoga based on the story intertwining songs, nursery rhymes and games to keep your little ones engaged.
Kids Yoga classes are after school for those aged 4 -10 where we move to themed classes and start to look deeper into yoga. Still full of fun and games but now introducing relaxation, mindfulness and breathing techniques to help calm the mind, aid sleep, relax the body and reduce anxiety.
Family Yoga allows parents and children to practice yoga together (ages 3-10). Great fun, full of energy but also providing the opportunity to relax together.
Mama & Me Fitness provide safe and effective workouts for mums and mums to be.
Classes are every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10.30am at Iveridge Health Club in Rothwell. Pay as you go and block bookings available.

A baby-wearing dance class for all parents/carers (BUMPS WELCOME TOO!)
8+ week vaginal birth/12+ week C-section -until you are comfortable carrying them (suggestion around 20kilos.)
It’s a 45-minute dance class, where you will get to dance to some ’90s/ early 00’s classics, some Dancehall, Reggaeton, Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha-cha. You name it, we will probably dance to it one day! With 15 mins at the beginning or end to meet other like-minded carers and their little ones.
Mama’s Got Moves is a chance to bond with your baby, connect them to the world of music and dance from a young age, meet other parents, do something for you, have fun, and dance!
You do not need any dance experience to join this class. This is for anyone and everyone, we will go slow and learn easy routines.
Baby carriers are available to borrow.
Older children are welcome to come and dance alongside you or play in the background.

Alongside my 1:2:1 personal training I also run a fitness class set up for postnatal mums. It does not matter if you’re 4 months postnatal or 4 years postnatal, everyone is welcome and so is your baby.
The class is 1 hour long and starts with a warm up followed by a variety of body weight exercises such as squats and lunges then finished off with core exercises and a cool down.
A chance to keep fit, meet new mums and have some fun.
