Interested in starting a family history? Join us at Moor Allerton Community Hub for a 90min interactive session exploring Ancestry.com. You’ll learn about the main records for family tree building – birth, marriage and death certificates, parish registers and census records – as well as how to locate and interpret those databases. We’ll also touch on some slightly more advanced records and (if time permits) branch out into some useful websites and resources elsewhere on the internet.
Please note that the session will require familiarity with a PC and mouse and is primarily aimed at family history beginners.
