On the path between the Upper Lake and Park Lane, a little fairy village has appeared, with little houses formed out of tree trunks and fairy gardens planted between the tree roots. Make your visit into a full day with a walk around Roundhay Park, a visit to Tropical World and something to eat at Lakeside or the Mansion.
Fairies have moved into an unassuming stretch of woodland in East Ardsely, and if you’re very quiet you might just see them! As you wander look out for little fairy doors and fairy trinkets- sure signs that fairies live here! Details here.
Over at the Northwood Trail is England’s Fairy Sanctuary, where fairies can come to live in Enchanted Woodland without fear. As you wander on the mile long trail, you’ll see lots of beautiful fairy homes, bridges and maybe even a fairy! Up in Studfold there is a Fairy Trail with a difference; as well as fairies there are loads of activities to enjoy on your walk; a mixture of active and educational ones.
