Gateways is a small, highly successful independent day school for boys and girls aged 2-18 years situated in Harewood village, north of Leeds.
We believe in the numerous benefits that come with our size; investment into keeping class sizes small, our subject offering wide and our facilities up to date is of paramount importance.
In our Prep School, the maximum class size is 18. By being part of a whole school campus, our pupils have regular use of our fantastic school facilities, including a theatre, sports hall, dance and drama studio. In addition to this we have recently added a Prep art studio and a covered outdoor learning space.
We are proud to be regularly placed in the top ten schools nationally for Value Added. The reason for this is simple – small class sizes and a focus on the individual. This is further demonstrated in our examination results; in 2022, almost half of all GSCE grades were at grade 7 and above and 26% of all A Levels were awarded at A* grade.
