Get Set Leeds is a citywide partnership between health and sports organisations in Leeds. They want to make it easier for families to be more active in Leeds and help children and parents get involved in more physical activities.
To do this, they need your ideas, experiences and opinions on what changes should be made to help you get moving more. The information and evidence they collect will be used to inform future plans to help make Leeds the most active city.
Staying active is important for Transport Planner Emma Young, for herself and her husband but also as an example to her two boys. Here’s how she fits it into her busy life.
Have Your Say
Get Set Leeds is your chance to say about what being active means to you and what could be done to help get people moving more. Being active is good for individual health, good for communities and good for the city as a whole. But for lots of reasons, many people are still inactive
You can contribute by completing one (or both) of the surveys HERE and then these suggestions will become part of a city-wide action plan – and you can also support Get Set Leeds by becoming an activity champion or role model for the city.
