Grass Hoppers Indoor Play Area has Re-Opened!

Fantastic news that all of Grass Hoppers, including indoor play, has now re-opened at Tong Garden Centre, after restrictions impacting leisure businesses post-covid were lifted.

What’s available in the Indoor Play?

Indoors, the Big Play Frame has been specially designed with 7 key learning skills in mind to help your little ones develop and grow through fantastically fun play. There are slides, swings, rope bridges and tunnels, challenge decks and a mirror infinity deck.

There is also a Baby Toddler Zone– a huge space with lots of exciting features, including an interactive talking tree and a state-of-the-art eye spy action panel!

There’s a Role Play Zone– the perfect place for creative play, a Sport’s Court for Older Children, and WOW Features like the big interactive piano and spider web ropes!

The Outdoor Play provides even more entertainment

Grass Hoppers has absolutely LOADS for your little ones to enjoy outdoors, including bouncing pillows, a zip wire, slides, a giant fort, a sandpit, and pre-school playhouses and outdoor toys for the under 3s in Dotty’s Pre-School Play.

Facilities at Grass Hoppers

Grass Hoppers is a family friendly attraction, so has everything you need to look after your little ones. Indoor and outdoor toilets, baby changing, a mother and baby feeding zone, pram store… and now a supersized changing room with sinks and changing cubicles to clean up after all those adventures your children will enjoy! Do remember to take a change of clothes and towel after water play and being in the sand pit!

Woody’s Kitchen

Woody’s Kitchen serves takeaway food options for all the family, including lots of your favourites! There’s also a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, sweet treats and ice creams!

Staying Safe at Grass Hoppers

To make sure that you stay safe at Grass Hoppers, there have been a few changes to the way that it operates.

• We are further reducing the number of children we allow in to Grass Hoppers now that indoor play is reopening
• Playtime sessions every day meaning less people on equipment and more frequent cleaning
• Food menu with a focus on quick takeaway options
• Sanitising stations and regular cleaning of equipment
• Queue systems to allow for social distancing
• Clear flow in high traffic areas such as into toilets and the outdoor play area
• Face coverings are to be worn by adults in all indoor areas but are not required whilst seated at a table
• Online booking only as this allows us to capture all necessary details for track and trace
