Hyde Park Picture House is taking to the road in 2020
With work set to begin on the cinema’s upcoming redevelopment from this March, the Hyde Park Picture House is taking to the road, delivering an off-site programme of screenings and events in venues across Leeds.
This includes our family-friendly Hyde and Seek screenings, which includes stunning animations, exciting adventures and spellbinding classics to be enjoyed by all ages!
This includes a monthly screening at the brilliant Headingley HEART Centre in Headingley and a tour of special one-off screenings in unique cultural and heritage venues across the city, including Leeds Art Gallery, Bramley Baths, Leeds Industrial Museum, Leeds Central Library, Scrap at Sunny Bank Mills, The Tetley and More! Before every Hyde & Seek film, there will be a fun and interactive craft activity, to make your trip to the pictures extra memorable.
All our Hyde and Seek screenings are at affordable prices, including many Pay What You Can screenings (which includes free!) and before every Hyde & Seek film, there will be a film themed fun and interactive craft activity, to make your trip to the pictures extra memorable.
Following our re-opening in 2021, we will have an additional screen, more accessible space and enhanced technology, which we can use to enhance and expand our offer to families including more screenings for young audiences and their families (including the return of bring your own baby screenings!), a film club for young film enthusiasts aged 11-15 and more engaging, interactive and fun film themed activities and workshops for local audiences, community groups and schools and colleges.
