2020 marks the 500th anniversary of The Field of Cloth of Gold – the most spectacular tournament ever held. As guardian of some of Henry VIII’s most magnificent armours and the home of international jousting the Royal Armouries in Leeds is marking the anniversary with a special tournament over the May bank holiday weekend (23 – 25 May 2020).
There will be two shows per day at 12 noon and 3pm on Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May .
