COMMUNITY JUBILEE EVENTS FOR FAMILIES IN LEEDS

• JUBILEE TEA PARTIES AT LEEDS LIBRARIES 23rd May- 1st June Come along for a chat and a cuppa – no need to book
• TEMPLE NEWSAM JUBILEE PICNIC 2nd June 11 am- 3pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy activities, games and music on the west lawn. Plus lots of celebratory activities in the house and on the farm.
• GO WILD AT SCATCHERD PARK 2nd June, 10am-2pm Jubilee activities for families (including a Jubilee pack to take away) and consultation on the future of Morley Parks.
• WETHERBY FAMILY FUN AFTERNOON 2nd June 2pm-5.30pm on the Ings. A selection of Family sporting events, paddlboard demonstrations and a BBQ
• THE GREAT BRITISH FOOD FESTIVAL AT HAREWOOD 2nd-5th June. A weekend of food, drink and  fun at this iconic venue.
• JUBILEE FAMILY FUN DAY AT GREENHEAD PARK, HUDDERSFIELD 2nd June, 11am-3pm. A family fun day suitable for all the family (including a toddler triathlon).
• BARDSEY GALA 3rd June 1pm-5pm at Bardsey Sports Club. An afternoon of family activities, games and competitions.
• FASLEY COMMUNITY QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE 2-5TH June. A weekend of activities, starting with lighting the Beacon on top of Woodhall which will be part of the National Chain of Beacons.
• KIPPAX SCARECROW TRAIL AND VILLAGE PICNIC– 2nd- 5th June. A weekend of activities to mark the Queen’s Jubilee in Kippax including a beacon lighting ceremony at Cheney Basin, royal-themed Scarecrow Festival and a picnic in the park at Kippax Common with Breeze inflatables and fairground rides
• QUEEN STREET MORLEY, LEEDS– 3rd-5th June. A street market, entertainment, fun fair, donkey rides and street party.
• EAST KESWICK VILLAGE HALL JUBILEE CELEBRATION 4th June 11am-3pm 
• MEANWOOD JUBILEE CELEBRATION – 4th June 12-4pm at Meanwood Community Centre, Leeds
• ROTHWELL CELEBRATIONS ON COMMERCIAL STREET, 4th June 11am-4pm. Market stalls, Street Entertainers, Fairground Rides, Donkeys, Pimms & Prosecco.
• PLATINUM JUBILEE EXTRAVAGANZA AT MIDDLETON PARK– 5th June 12-4.30pm, Free event at the Visitor Centre at Middleton Park
• SCARCROFT VILLAGE PICNIC AT THE MILK CHURN 5th June 12-5pm.
• FAMILY FUN DAY AT PENDAS COMMUNITY CENTRE, LS15 8LE 5th June, 12-3pm. The event includes stalls, games, inflatables, cream tea and picnic area and is open to the whole community.
• SHADWELL JUBILEE PICNIC IN THE PARK 5th June 2pm-5pm Celebrate with family and friends in Holywell Lane Park
• BRACKENWOOD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION PLATINUM JUBILEE STREET PARTY– 5th June, 12-4pm. The Highwood Building, Brackenwood Drive, LS8 1RG
