Mumbler reviews Five Star Sports ‘Sporty Tots’ Sessions
Looking for a multi-sports class for your pre-schooler that gives them a good grounding in a range of sports whilst also developing their confidence and love of sport? Then Sporty Tots, from Five Star Sports, is for you. Find out what my sister and her mini Mumblers thought when they went to try a session last week.
My Mini mumblers (aged 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) had a brilliant time with Coach Danny from Five Star Sports on Friday.
We joined Danny and a number of other keen youngsters at Boston Spa Village Hall for the 11.30 – 12.10 Sporty Tots session. The venue is perfect for the class with a spacious hall which is easy to find, in the centre of Boston Spa, and with on site car parking.
The mini Mumblers eyes lit up as soon as we got in the hall and they saw the floor covered in colourful balloons and hoops! Coach Danny is extremely welcoming and was very relaxed about our youngest wandering around and joining in now and again, given the session is meant to be for ages 2 – 5. He mentioned he has this at a number of his classes and is more than happy if it means the whole family can enjoy the session.
The class was really well structured with multiple exercises helping the children learn ball/balloon control, hand eye co-ordination, colours and numbers. They were all constantly learning without knowing it. It was great fun for all, including the parents who helped out now and again in the session. Everyone had smiles on their faces and the mini Mumblers certainly burnt off a lot of energy!!
This class is really for everyone who would like their children to learn sporting techniques in a pressure free environment. Coach Danny is clearly passionate about the children learning through having fun. He has fun and engaging activities that change each week, to create an action packed session for all. There were certainly smiles all round for our family and we would definitely recommend it to others.
Danny’s classes in Bramham and Kirk Deighton are extremely popular and I’m sure this new class in Boston Spa is set to be too.
