Helen from our sister site South Leeds Mumbler ecently went to see the #INF23 exhibition / installation by Michael Shaw at Left Bank Leeds.
It’s a fantastic sensory experience for little ones. As you can see, my mini Mumbler loved it, as did Nanna who was visiting us for the day.
There were art materials available too. She loved drawing with the crayons and we were able to take her artwork home. She even made a new friend while we were there!
I love that kids can get fully involved in this exhibition, and are allowed to touch it and run around it. Such a family friendly place.
The bright colours, lights, gentle hum of the fan and the calming environment may also be particularly enjoyed by neurodiverse and sensory impaired children or those with special educational needs.
The event is free entry and there is free parking right outside the door too. (NB We went during a week day when it was quiet so there were no issues, but onsite parking is limited so please bear this in mind for busier times).
This exhibition is open 10am-5pm every day until 28th September 2019. Free entry, simply drop in.
Left Bank Leeds also runs regular events and family friendly activities. Check out the website for details on what’s coming up.
