Music and Craft classes all the family can enjoy at Inspirations Central
Inspirations Central is a hub for children and parents in North Leeds to make music, create works of art, socialise and enjoy a cuppa and snack!
Owner Ruth Douglas spotted a gap in the market for a relaxed, creative environment for parents to take their children. Ruth, mum of two and a music and former primary school teacher said, “I have seen first hand the positive impact music and art can have on children. The aim of inspirations central is to encourage children to use their imagination, be creative and enjoy themselves.”
The current timetable of classes caters for children of all ages, a FREE trial is available for all classes.
Create and Play
Create and Play is on every Tuesday afternoon during term time from 12 to 2:30pm for just £2 per child and £1 for babies.
Each week is themed around a children’s story, with a chance for children to play and create a craft they can then take home that is related to the story of the week. You can bring a packed lunch (microwave available) and join us at 12 pm for lunch all together, followed by a few hours to play and craft. At 2pm we then sit down for the story and songs, including our very own goodbye song.
Our groups are small giving the children chance to make real friendships and for adults to have chance for a cuppa and a chat, in a space that is welcoming and unique. Our Create and Play sessions are run by volunteers and all your payments go towards the running costs and buying of resources
