Newby Hall is a great Yorkshire family day out with plenty to do for children of all ages. The Adventure Garden has swings for toddlers through to climbing frames and bridges, an aerial slide and pedalo boats for the older children. Get wet in ‘Tarantella’ dancing water play area by William Pye! (Take swimmers & a towel!) You can ride a miniature train through the gardens for a small extra cost.
Open March- September. You can take a picnic (there is cafe as well) and there are traditional ice cream shops.
