Hello!
I’m Grace Olson and I live in Moortown. I would like to share with you my free, on-line book to help lift your spirits during this difficult time. The book is a comical tale in the same genre as the James Herriot books – it’s a light-hearted, fun read!
In ‘real life’ I am a therapist, with 25 years’ experience, and work mainly with terminally ill people using a combination of massage, collaborative coaching and spiritual healing. My goal is to set up a farm-based therapy centre in Eccup where people can come and find inner peace with the help of nature.
We get many special visitors at our field – red kites come into land on our fence posts, pheasants wander around making their funny noises and we often see rabbits too. Every now and then we are honoured by a visit from the stoats who live in our dry-stone wall and they can run amazingly fast!
My plan is to involve my horses in the therapy sessions as they are excellent at showing up all the parts of us that need attention. With their assistance, I will be offering outdoor coaching sessions with meditation and healing.
The book is my way of bringing a bit of happiness to others while I am unable to do my therapy work. I am as yet un-published but I hope one day to be published and use the book to raise awareness for my therapy centre.
I hope that you enjoy reading it and if you do please ‘like, comment and share’ as this will help me to get published which in turn will help my therapy centre.
