Classes are run by Annie, a qualified nurse who specialised in A&E nursing and registered midwife with decades of experience. The course is suitable for parents, grandparents, extended family members and professionals involved in the care of babies or young children.
The Blooming Babies Paediatric First Aid course covers a range of basic first aid skills. You’ll learn how to react in a range of emergency and health situations, including when a baby or child:
Infant specific and practical workshops giving parents the skills to know the difference between normal everyday complaints and real life-threatening situations. Mini First Aid 2 hour classes are for parents, grandparents and carers. Our classes cover CPR, choking, burns, breaks, bumps, bleeding, febrile seizures and more and are designed to give individuals who attend the confidence of what to do if they were ever faced with a first aid emergency and cover content from birth to the age of 18. Classes are informative and relaxed and pre-crawling babies are very welcome. Small group/Private classes are also available on request.
