Crowning Glory: Harewood and the Coronation
In celebration of the Coronation of HM King Charles III, discover the story of Harewood’s relationship to this historic ceremony throughout the years, with the Lascelles family Coronation robes and other precious items from our historic collection on display in the Servant’s Hall. The exhibition will remain open to the public until Mon 28 Aug.
Get the whole family involved in the celebration, with royal-themed children’s activity sheets and crown-making kits located within our family-friendly space, The Bakehouse. Little ones will love building and designing their very own crowns, which will make the perfect accessory for the upcoming celebrations. From feathers to stick-on jewels, children will be encouraged to let their creative side shine through.
