It’s something we do less and less in the everyday hustle and bustle of life. As it’s become easier and easier for us to get swept away in the endless pursuit of keeping everything and everyone in our family healthy and happy we’ve gotten really good at doing just that. But the more we do that, the less we make time for ‘us’. How do we balance it all? How do we even make time to think about how we can balance it all?
Well… while we don’t have all the answers, we definitely have a viable option. TYRO Studios is a newly launched studio space in Shipley, West Yorkshire. A Scandinavian inspired, TYRO hosts creative workshops purposefully designed for beginners – hoorah! The concept behind the workshop space is so specifically geared towards the beginner’s experience that its name ‘tyro’ actually comes from the Latin word for a beginner/novice.

Whilst the experiences are created for newcomers, the tutors behind them are experienced, well-versed and passionate about their craft. TYRO Studios tickets are fully inclusive of materials, tools, expert tuition and refreshments (especially selected white, red, rose wine, prosecco, or non-alcoholic alternatives and tea/coffee) all you need to provide is enthusiasm.
The TYRO space is inclusive and safe for all people, classes are small (6-10 people) to ensure that everyone gets as much direct assistance from tutors and from 1.5 hours to 3 hours max – the perfect time and space to have a go at something new with likeminded people!
