Bring your teddies to see the bluebells in Middleton Woods and support The Alzheimer’s Society for the weekend.
On these two days, in collaboration with the Friends of Middleton Park, some trains will be met at Park Halt for a walk round the bluebell displays in the park. Each walk will be tailored on the day to take in the best bluebells and will be suitable for those taking part: pushchairs are welcome. The walks are fairly short – around 30 minutes – and will also go to the lakeside visitor centre, where refreshments are available.
Usual timetable will apply. On each day the tour guides will meet the following trains on their arrival at Park Halt:
Children are invited to bring their teddy bear to join in the walk, and as part of this the following special offers will apply to any children (aged under 16), provided that they are accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
The normal adult fare of £6 will apply for this event.
