- Bank Holiday Family Fun Day at Ripon Races Final family fun day of the season, on our Bank Holiday showdown on Monday 28th August we look forward to our only listed race of the season, the EBF Ripon Champion Two-Year Old Trophy. Spider-Man is returning to Mission Out .He’ll be here on Bank Holiday Monday along with SPIDER-GWEN when they’ll be challenging each other to a round of Adventure Golf, jumping off the Tower Jump Pillow and going head to head on The Rafts. PLUS- Join us from Monday 28th August until Wednesday 30th August and get ready to take your adventure at Mission Out to a whole new level with the CAVE POD experience. Prepare to crawl your way through epic tunnels that will leave you amazed! The Cave Pod is a free activity for Mission Out visitors but, charity donations to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, our Charity of the Year are greatly appreciated

- Bank Holiday Jousting Tournament at Royal Armouries Museum. From Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August the museum’s impressive jousting arena in Leeds will resound to the cheers of crowds and the clash of lances on armour, as knights battle it out in a full-on jousting tournament. The twice-daily shows at 11:00 and 14:00 will feature knights and horses, plus plenty of pomp and pageantry. It promises to be spectacular entertainment for all the family.

- Leeds West Indian Carnival, on Bank Holiday Monday, looks amazing, sounds great, tastes fabulous – it is a sensory delight. It is rapture, harmony and a feast for the senses all wrapped up in what is probably Yorkshire’s brightest day. It is definitely a showcase for the best of Caribbean culture and a celebration for all.

- Kirkstall Abbey Weekend Market. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Kirkstall Abbey ruins, the weekend markets are a great way to shop locally, with different stallholders joining every month. Take in the delicious smells and tastes of Yorkshire-made produce including cheeses & chutneys, and sweet & savoury bakes. Stop for lunch at one of the street food stalls and enjoy a drink in the cloister ruins of the abbey.
