Open Days 12th- 17th October

We’re taking bookings for half an hour slots for one family at a time to take a tour of school, meet the senior leadership team and get a feel for our lovely school. We want to still be able to offer an Open Day-type option and ask you to join us following social distancing precautions such as wearing a face mask inside our building.

To accommodate more people, we are therefore opening up tour slots across the week commencing 12th October 2020. Please get in touch (the sooner the better) and we will organise something with you.

An Open Day is a great way to see the School in action and get a feel for what life is like at Primley Wood Primary. Here’s why we think you should choose us:

  • Ofsted rated ‘Good’ – December 2019
  • Happy well-behaved children who are eager to come to school and learn
  • Small class sizes meaning more time on individual learners
  • Key Stage 1 results consistently higher than national average

Join us on 10th October 2020 – for our Virtual Whole School Open Day!

Whole School Open Day

Saturday 10th October 2020

From 9.00 am – 12.00 pm

We warmly invite you to our Whole School Open Morning, for Kindergarten places through to Year 13.

This Open Day – held online – will start with a talk by our Principal, Mr Jeff Smith, followed by the opportunity to talk to our Heads of School, key subject and support staff, and current students and parents in the relevant school for your family.

We look forward to sharing our approach to education with you and discussing how we can support your child’s aspirations; through the quality of teaching delivered, extensive extra-curricular opportunities offered, and strong pastoral care provided to students here at Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate.

To book your place, visit our website to fill in the short registration form with your preferences for the day HERE.

We are hoping to also be able to welcome those families who wish to see our wonderful campus in person and will update those registered on the arrangements for this nearer the time, to ensure we are adhering to the latest UK Government guidance.
