Gateways is an independent day school for children aged 2-18 years, offering education from Early Years through to Sixth Form.
Our purpose-built nursery, The Gatehouse, is open from 7.30am – 6pm Monday to Fridays and is where our youngest children (aged 2-3 years) begin their Gateways journey. As well as benefitting from the school’s grounds, children can also access other school facilities such as the dance studio, sports hall and a purpose-built enclosed playground. We offer the funded early educational entitlement (FEEE) from age 2, wraparound care and a holiday club.
Children have a seamless transition to Littlegates which houses Pre-Reception, Reception and Year 1. The move to full-time school is a natural progression for our children. Small classes ensure each child receives the attention and support they deserve and from Reception, the children are taught PE and music by specialist teachers.
Why not see if Gateways could be the perfect school for your child at our annual Open Day on Friday 4th October 2024. Booking is essential – please click the link below to select the area of the school you are interested in and book your time slot.

They are part of a community where they are truly known and valued, encouraged to explore new ideas, and supported every step of the way. This growth happens in a caring and supportive environment, where they learn to win with humility, lose with grace, and turn setbacks into confidence and strength.
Fulneck School combines academic excellence with a wide range of extracurricular activities, all tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Our website provides detailed information about our school’s structure, values, history, and the many opportunities our students enjoy.
