Join The Hepworth Wakefield gallery for a free family activity. Children create a sculpture to take home after the workshop.
Use your body to make abstract drawings and sculptures inspired by our exhibition Alina Szapocznikow: Human Landscapes.
Explore the gallery as a family, working together to create interesting drawings using your hands and body parts. Back in the learning studios use your whole body to make giant shapes and transform them into sculptures and drawings.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 2 – 12, who must be accompanied by an adult.
You will be asked to collect an activity kit from the Learning Studios and go up to the gallery before starting the activity.
This workshop will be closed over lunch from 12.30 – 1pm. Last admittance to the activity will be at 3.30pm.
