This year as part of Heritage Open Days you can find the Picture House team at Leeds Industrial Museum nestled amongst the Kalee Projectors and Louis Le Prince’s early cameras presenting a mixed programme in celebration of our favourite astounding invention, film.
For young audiences and families, we are screening two Aardman British classics, featuring the eccentric inventor Wallace and his trusted canine friend Gromit.
These family friendly screenings will be accompanied by an interactive, drop-in workshop making Zoetropes, before (1.30pm) and after (3.00pm) to explore real life inventions which inspired the creation of film in the Media at the Mill exhibition.
Leeds Industrial Museum will be free to visit on Sat 10 and Sun 11 Sept.
No Booking Required and the screenings and related activities are available to view on a drop-in basis.
