Art Monsters runs monthly at Inkwell’s weekend cafe. Every last Saturday of the month at 1.30pm the Art monsters team bring out the glue, glitter and array of colourful art materials to a group of 6-12 year olds to encourage play and creative learning.
Art Monsters welcomes all children who love making stuff, having fun and getting messy! Themed around various subjects ( often topical or seasonal) the sessions are designed to allow children to discover and learn about subjects in an interesting, colourful and tactile way.
Every last Saturday of the month
1.30pm -3.30pm
Cost £4 per child
Ages 6 -12
Please note parents and guardians must not leave the premises while the workshop is running.

March – fun Easter Crafts including Easter bonnet making!
April – Giraffe Marionette Puppets – make your own string animal puppets
May – Air Dry Clay – learn how to texture clay and make amazing bowls!
June – Poinmtilism for Children – using watercolours make artwork in the pointilism style
July – Collaborative Collage – learn about colour theory while having fun making a giant colour wheel
August – Recycled Crafts – Recycling helps save the planet. Learn how to make cool things out of old CDs and make recycled pen pots.
Sept – Help us make a large Autumn Mural using leaves and colours from the season
Oct – Halloween crafts – spooky creatures and lots of fun!
Nov – Homemade Christmas Decorations
