Our own Alistair and Jonathan Brownless delighted the Leeds crowd with a repeat gold and silver performance at the 2017 Columbia Threadneedle World Triathlon Leeds. Adam Bowden and Tom Bishop added to the British celebrations with fourth and fifth, and Jess Learmonth was sixth in the women’s race.
Just under 3,000 people took part in the amateur events across the weekend, from juniors and novices, to the leading amateur athletes competing on the same course as the elites in the British Standard Distance Age-Group Triathlon Championships.

Saturday 9th June will see the action contained in and around Roundhay Park with the Event Village providing a central hub for competitors, friends and family and local residents to call home.
The elite and amateur races taking place on Sunday 10th June use a unique ‘point to point’ course, with athletes taking to the waters in Roundhay Park and journeying to the finish line in Leeds City Centre’s Millenium Square.
