Come and join us at our annual Picnic in the Park! Hot and cold drinks (bring your mug), activities and games for the children… lots of fun but need to be with a responsible adult, Guide Dogs for the Blind are bringing their sensory unit, Tiny Boo with activities for the smaller children and Woodchips with more on offer, Just Birding to show you what we can look out for in our locality and Headingley Voices to sing for us as well as the amazing Bassa Bassa Band – back by special request – who have entertained us so well for the last couple of years. There are a few other stalls which we are sure will be of interest.
We welcome cakes for the cake stall and gifts for the tombola. We are also looking for helpers on the day please! If you are qualified as a First Aider, please get in touch as we need some support with this… Don’t forget your picnic, mat to sit on, hat and hopefully sunscreen!!! We would prefer no bar-b-ques for safety reasons and mention that once again Leeds Beckett Uni will open their toilet in South Lodge for our convenience.
