Multi Story Picture House presents Drive-up Cinema – Bramham

July 17, 2020 - July 19, 2020

From 17th-19th July 2020 Multi Story Picture House presents Drive-up Cinema – a socially distanced outdoor cinema experience, organised to give you something to look forward to during lockdown.

Based at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham, Multi Story Picture House will be showing 9 screenings across 3 days with films ranging from cult classics to kids films to musicals! Tickets are £27.50 (+ booking fee) per car, and in order to maintain the highest levels of safety at the event cars will be socially distanced and guests will be checked in by scanning their tickets through their car windows.

The films showing across the weekend include a range of family friendly screenings! The weekend starts off with the science fiction classic Back to the Future on Friday, followed by a late-night screening of Moulin Rouge. Saturday is jam-packed with appearances from the adventurous Moana (a favourite with many, we’re sure), the 80s pirate-themed treasure-hunt action-fantasy The Goonies, and a lesser known true story told in Hidden Figures. Saturday evening sees a late-night screening of Shaun of the Dead – perhaps leave the kids at home for this one!

On Sunday you can enjoy a showing of Yorkshire’s own Chicken Run, or for the Marvel fans we’ll be showing the blockbuster Black Panther. Or, if you just want to have a great sing-along, then Sunday evening’s screening of Mamma Mia is sure to finish off your weekend on a high!

We will have a range of delicious movie snacks available to purchase at the event, all ordered through our no-contact app (available to download very soon!). There will be ice-creams from Northern Bloc (including their Little Bloc range of ice-creams for kids), crisps and popcorn from the ever-popular Yorkshire Crisps, and if you would like something warmer, we’ll have gourmet toasties and loaded fries from So Toasted. If you’re not the designated driver, you could even order a beer from North Brewing Co!

Organised by Leeds local Rhian Hughes, Multi Story Picture House was born out of wanting to help people through this time. Rhian is a freelance events manager who has tried to make something positive out of the difficult time we have all been facing by putting on an event for the Leeds community to look forward to, as well as helping provide work for some local businesses too.
