Has your child had a recent diagnosis? Or are you finding out about your child’s additional needs? Parents Connect is a free service that supports parents and carers looking after children under 18 to come together in a safe and supportive space. Our relaxed groups run for two hours each week for six weeks. They’ll help you build your support network and learn useful information to support your child.
The six weekly sessions will cover:
-support available locally
-wellbeing
-education
-work
-community support
-the journey ahead
The sessions are run in person at local venues. We can provide adjustments if you need them, such as British Sign Language interpreters, large print materials or hearing loops.
