A snappy and explosive musical entertainment for Leeds Kirkgate Market, from Alive & Kicking Theatre from the pen of BAFTA nominated Martin Riley and starring Local Performer and Magician, Luke Dickson, recently seen as Brian Clough in the “Damned United” and Singer and Puppeteer, Kathleen Yore, currently touring with Luke in Red Ladder’s production of “Mother Courage”.
This year our FREE Christmas Market Show features Santa’s hilarious adventures as he tries to get Leeds children’s presents delivered on time – without the help of his elves!
Instead, he has to rely on the wild magic of Tricksy Pixy, the musical mischief of Scary Fairy, Leanne and Little Joe, two young friends from Belle Isle and a bunch of Leeds Children who sneak out of bed in their dressing gowns to lend a hand!
Eventually they arrive at The Magical Midnight Market that takes place in Kirkgate every Christmas Eve. They need some last minute presents – but what price will the Goblin King be charging for his goods!
