We’re bringing the fantastical story of St. Margaret of Antioch to life at our upcoming arts weekend! Bring the family along for arts and crafts activities including mini 3D dragon making and plaster casting.
Part of Heritage Open Days, this free event focuses on the life of St. Margaret, who is part of Left Bank Leeds’ heritage. During the weekend, you’ll be able to view works created in response to her story by five artists, including Ian Kirkpatrick, whose large-scale, technicolour sculptures can be seen in various locations around Leeds. Ian is creating a three-metre tall dragon sculpture expecially for the event.
