tutti frutti’s new touring production has been created in consultation with Professor David Cottrell, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Leeds University. As scientific advisor on Yellow is the Colour of Sunshine, he has played a role in developing its themes of encouraging emotional literacy in young people. Through a captivating performance about friendship, the production aims to promote key areas involved with emotional literacy in young children for discussion: the ability to recognise emotions, to manage and feel in control of feelings and recognise emotions in others.
