Are you looking for childcare that is right for you and your child?
When it comes to choosing childcare, it can be a daunting process, with so many options available. Whether you’re returning to work, looking for opportunities to develop your child’s social skills or education, Little Owls nurseries are a great choice.
With 24 nurseries across Leeds, Little Owls is a top childcare choice for parents, caring for over 40% of the city’s three-months to five-year-olds. We welcome children from all communities and backgrounds.
We provide caring, stimulating settings in which children learn through play. Our nurseries offer different rooms and environments adapted for babies, toddlers and older children. The children enjoy imaginative free play, spending time in our spacious outdoor areas throughout the day.
We keep in touch with parents throughout the day using the free Tapestry app, so you won’t miss a moment of your child’s day.
Our menus are created by a dietician, and food is prepared freshly onsite every day which means that meals are nutritious and appropriate to your child’s age.
We have a talented team of childcare experts at Little Owls. All our staff have at least a level 2 qualification in childcare, and many have level 3 or above. Our apprenticeship programme ensures that we nurture and grow those new to childcare in a safe and supportive way and almost all our apprentices go on to secure a permanent post in Little Owls once fully qualified.
Learning is at the heart of Little Owls and our experienced team support each nursery to ensure your child has the very best start in life.
Other parents’ experiences of a childcare provider can be very useful. This is what parents say about Little Owls Nurseries:
“Amazing nursery where you and your child instantly feel welcome and at ease. They do a variety of exciting and engaging activities that help your child develop in all areas”
“The staff are all really lovely and welcoming, I went to view a few other nurseries and none of them were up to their standard. I loved the space inside and out and could see how happy my son was when we went for his trial days in the beginning. I always said that I didn’t make the decision, my son did, because his face was like sunshine and always is at nursery”.
“An amazing, professional, friendly and strong supportive team, who are here not just for the children, but the parents too. In difficult times, such as we have experienced with Covid, these ladies have been phenomenal and professional in their support for parents. I look forward each day to sending my girl to Little Owls”.
Ofsted visits all registered childcare services to ensure their standards are being met and that children are safe. All our nurseries are rated either ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ by Ofsted. We are also recognised as one of the best providers of care for children with additional needs in Leeds.
As a Leeds City Council service, our fees are reviewed annually to ensure they are at, or below, the average for childcare in Leeds. Don’t forget that some two-year-olds and all three- and four-year-olds are entitled to the equivalent of 15 hours of free childcare a week, for 38 weeks of the year.
