Get Playing Tennis in Leeds this Summer!

Leeds City Council and Lawn Tennis Association are working in partnership with the aim to make tennis easily accessible for both adults and children with low charges, professional coaching and engaging activities for the local community.

The below initiatives are available at Leeds City Council park tennis courts:

• Reserve a court for FREE at a Leeds Park, for more details click here .

• Tennis Tuesday (women only sessions), you will learn new skills each week and then have the opportunity to practice them in an informal match.

• Coaching Programme, for adults and children including the LTA Mini Tennis programme. With smaller courts, nets, rackets and lower bouncing balls, Mini Tennis offers the perfect introduction to the sport, with all the fun and energy of the real thing.

Below are the Leeds City Council venues in North Leeds where you can play tennis as a family

• Chapel Allerton Park, has 3 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
• Holt Park,  has 2 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
• John Charles Centre for Sport, the centre offers year-round access to indoor and outdoor tennis courts
• Meanwood Park, has 2 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
• Roundhay Park,  has 16 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
• The Hollies, Weetwood, has 6 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
• Woodhouse Moor Park, has 6 hard courts which are free to access throughout the year
