Peter Rabbit fever is set to hit the nation this week with the release of the much-awaited film (released 16th March). In her guest blog, fellow North Leeds Mumbler and photographer Jan Sweeney, shares her top 5 Peter Rabbit themed events taking place this Easter.
My little girl is obsessed with Peter Rabbit! She’s only 18 months but she has carried her little ‘Petey Rabbit’ (as she likes to call him) toy around with her since she was first able to hold something. When she was just 6 weeks old we took a trip to the Lake District as I was shooting a wedding in Cumbria. I bought her a little Peter Rabbit toy as a souvenir and it has not left her side since. In actual fact, she is currently asleep with a chocolate covered ‘Petey’ following an unsupervised munching of a chocolate finger! I’m going to have to sneak him into the washing machine tomorrow!
With Easter just around the corner, there seems to be quite a few themed Peter Rabbit events in and around Leeds so I thought I would share the top 5 events I have found so that you don’t miss out. Perfect days out for the Easter holidays. Enjoy!
