There are several bonfire night events happening across our area in 2019, here’s a quick Mumbler guide to what’s on ……
Friday 1st November 2019
- Myrtle Tavern Family Fireworks Party, 5-9pm. Large firework display to music and kid entertainment. Tickets Only – SOLD OUT
- Leeds Modernians Bonfire and Fireworks, Gates open at 5pm, Bonfire lighting at 6.15pm, Firework display 7.30pm. Bar, and Pie & Peas available.£2 entry, free for kids. NO sparklers. The Club House, Cookridge Lane, Leeds LS16 7ND
- Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club Bonfire & Firework Display, Gates open 6pm. Bar and refreshments available. Adults £4, Juniors £1.
Saturday 2nd November 2019
- Bonfire Night & Fireworks at Pudsey Congs, 7.30pm. There will also be hot food, raffle and music. Adults £2, Children Free. (Tickets reqiured for entry)Pudsey Congs Cricket Club, 24 Intake Rd, Pudsey LS28.
- Bonfire & Fireworks at Fulneck Golf Club Pudsey, 5pm onwards. Get wrapped up, grab some pie and peas, a burger and a drink and watch the fire and firework display from the terrace and the patio. Free evnt. Fulneck Golf Club, Fulneck, Pudsey, LS28 8NT
- Bonfire Night at Calverley Golf Club, bonfire will be lit at 6:30pm and firework display to start at 7pm. Inside and outside bar, food and sweet stall. Live music in the clubhouse afterwards. Adults £3, children £2 pay on the gate. Limited car parking will be available on the night.
- Bonfire Night at Troydale Club, Pudsey, 6pm onwards. Enjoy bonfire night celebrations at Troydale Club with a bonfire and two firework displays! Food, bar and live music inside. Free entry.
- Cookridge Village Scout Group Bonfire & Firework Display,Entry from 6pm, Firelit 6.15pm, Fireworks 7pm. Entry by donation. Refreshments for sale. No parking at the Scout Hut or down Pinfold Lane. Cookridge Village Scout Group, Pinfold Lane, LS16 7SY
- High Trees Garden Centre Bonfire Night, The event starts at 6pm with the bonfire being lit at 6:3pm, firework display at 7:30pm and live music from 8pm until 10pm.Fully licenced bar, hot and cold drinks and food. Pre-booking of tickets required. High Trees Garden Centre, Otley Old Road, Horsforth
- Moortown Rugby Club Bonfire & Fireworks, Gates open 6.30pm. Hog Roast, BBQ, Fire Engine, Bouncy Castle, Live Music, Pop Up Bars and more! Adults £3, Children £2, Under 5’s Free. Moortown Rugby Club, Far Moss, Alwoodley, LS17 7NT
- Shadwell Village Bonfire & Firework Display,Bar, refreshments and entertainment from 6.30pm. Quieter fireworks from 7pm, followed by main firework display starting at 7.30pm Pay on the gate or buy an early bird saver family ticket (£12) from the Village Post Office or Fish & Chip Shop. - Thorner Fireworks Festival, 6.30pm Bonfire lighting, 7pm Children’s Firework Display. 8pm Main Firework Display. BBQ and bar. Advance tickets ONLY. New venue for 2019 – Thorner Cricket Club, Main Street, Thorner, LS14 3DE
- Wetherby Community Bonfire, Gates open at 5:30pm, Bonfire lit at 7pm, Firework Display at 7.30pm. Bar, food and Fairground rides! Wetherby Sports Association, Lodge Lane, Wetherby, LS22 5FN
Sunday 3rd November 2019
- Alwoodley Community Association Firework Display, Fully licensed bar with hot food being served from 3.30pm and fireworks starting at 5.30pm. ACA, The Avenue
- Farsley Big Bang Community Bonfire & Fireworks Display, 4-10pm. Firework Spectacular at Farsley Celtic Footballl Club. Includes street food, pie & pea’s, rides, outdoor beer tent and much more. Fireworks from 8pm.
- Firework Spectacular at Stockeld Park, 5.30pm. A LIVE band on stage from 4:30pm and also entertainment from fire breathers to warm you up ready for the big show! If you are visiting the park prior to 2pm, then this event is included FREE with forest and maze tickets or £7 for fireworks only. Pre-booking required. Stockeld Park, Wetherby.
- High Farm Bonfire Night, Starting at 5.30pm There will also be a BBQ, tombola, raffle and a few stalls. High Farm, Farrar Lane, LS16 7AQ
- Toddler Friendly No Bangs Bonfire at St John’s Church Farsley, 5-7pm. Family event, ideal for toddlers and babies. Food, crafts,fire and sparklers, NO LOUD fireworks. Pay As You Feel, all donations are to St John’s. St John’s Church, New Street, Farsley, LS28 5DJ
Tuesday 5th November 2019
- Bankhouse Inn Bonfire Night & Fireworks Display, Bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm. Pie & Peas, Hotdogs and Curry. £2 Entry. 40-42 Bankhouse Lane, Pudsey, LS28 8EB
- Bonfire Night at Bay Horse Meanwood, Small local bonfire, mini firework display and the chance to have pie & peas and a toffee apple with friends outside. There will also be an outdoor bar and food. £1 a ticket and the bonfire will be in the secure garden so entry through the pub by TICKET ONLY.
- Bonfire Night at The Beck and Call, 5-8pm. FREE Hog Roast sandwiches. Pie & Peas / Toffee Apples / Hot Chocolate/ Mulled Cider available. At 7pm a family-friendly firework display will light up the Meanwood sky. FREE Entry.
- Bramhope Village Scout Group Bonfire Night, Entry from 6pm; Bonfire lit at 7pm; Professional Firework Display from 7:30pm. Burgers, Hotdogs, Snacks and Drinks will be available. Parking requires pre-booking. Entry Fee: Donations Only. Bramhope Scout Campsite.
- Bramley Park Bonfire And Fireworks Display, FREE Community Council Fireworks Display. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm with the fireworks display at 7.30pm. Bramley Park
- Bonfire Night at Leoa’s (Alwoodley) Bar and food available from 5pm, fire pit & marshmallow toasting from 6pm, fireworks at 6.30pm. £2 per per person, under 5’s free.
- Roundhay Park Bonfire & Firework Display, FREE Community Council Fireworks Display. The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm with the fireworks display at 8pm. Roundhay Park, Soldiers Field
- The Mustard Pot Bonfire, Chapel Allerton, Pie and peas, chilli, mulled wine, Pimms, Gin shed and Beer tent. Bonfire and friendly fireworks. Free Entry. Car parking limited.
- The Owl Inn, Rodley, The annual bonfire at The Owl Rodley will be on 5th November, the bonfire will be lit 5.30pm and fireworks will follow.
- Woodhouse Moor Fireworks Display, FREE Community Council Fireworks Display. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm with the fireworks display at 7.30pm. Woodhouse Lane, Headingley
Friday 8th November 2019
- Collingham and Linton Bonfire and Firework Display,Gates open 6.30pm, Bonfire lit 7pm, Fireworks 7.30pm. Refreshments and hot food available. Field next to Collingham Scout Hut
- St Andrew’s Roundhay Scout Community Bonfire, From 6pm. Bonfire, Fireworks, Sparklers, Food & Drink, Tuck Shop. Shaftesbury Ave, Leeds LS8 1DS
Saturday 9th November 2019
- Adel St Johns School Bonfire & Firework Extravaganza, Gates open 5pm for hot food, bar, refreshments and children’s slide. Bonfire lit approx 5.45pm with the firework display commencing 6.30pm.
- Boston Spa Community Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza, Gates open 5.30pm. Stalls, fairground rides and refreshments. Adult ticket in advance £3.50, gate £5.00, Child in advance £2.50, gate £3.50. Primrose Lane Primary School
- St John’s Church Moor Allerton Bonfire & Fireworks, 5-7pm. Hot Food and drinks on sale in the Church Hall from 5pm, with Bonfire lit at 6pm and Firework Display at 6.30pm on the Church Field by the Ring Road. Free entry.
