This festive season at the Carriageworks Theatre, Cinderella (Fri 25 Nov 22 – Sun 8 Jan 23) escapes her rags and wicked stepsisters to attend the Royal Ball. With the help of loyal friend Buttons and a sprinkling of Fairy Godmother magic, she dances the night away with the charming Prince. But when the clock strikes midnight the magic fades and Cinderella must leave the ball before anyone finds out.
Featuring breath-taking special effects, spectacular scenery, and sparkling costumes along with plenty of traditional pantomime mayhem, laughter, and chances for you to join in the fun…the clock is ticking to Leeds’ most magical pantomime yet!
For younger audiences, we offer a studio festive show. Christopher’s Christmas (Sun 18 – Sat 31 Dec) is written especially for children aged 2-7 and their families and is a Makaton Friendly performance. Told using beautiful puppets and stunning scenery, Christopher’s Christmas is a new wintery tale for the whole family.
Its Christmas Eve and Christopher Nibble’s festive fun is interrupted by a shocking radio announcement. Father Christmas’s Santa Nav has broken, and he can’t find Dandeville! The guinea pigs gather and hatch a plan to save Christmas…but everything they do seems to cause chaos and calamity.
