Come along and experience something a bit different this Christmas! Are you bored of attending the same old carol concerts? Is pantomime not for you? Northern Opera Group have the solution! The Christmas Elf is a captivating short opera which will help the whole family feel really festive this Christmas.

Before both performances there will be a fun craft activity for the little ones to get involved with and a chance to meet the Christmas Elf herself!

Complete with singing fir tree, Father Christmas and even some presents (!) this is a joyful performance to inspire all.

“Christmas Eve, and all in the village are getting ready for the big day. In the nearby forest, a young elf is learning what Christmas is all about from the wise old Fir Tree. In one magical night, two worlds collide, and Christmas will never be the same again…”

Jingle the Elf has been naughty and has ended up on Santa’s naughty list – she needs to find a way to get on the good list and fast. She takes it upon herself to steal Santa’s sleigh and to travel to different fairytale lands to see if she can turn things around, but quite often she finds herself getting a little swayed with the villainous characters. Will Jingle find out the secret of how to get on the good list?
