Illyria, the outdoor theatre company, brings their hit show “The Wind in the Willows” to Harewood House on 5th September, and you could win tickets for a family of four!
The acclaimed theatre company will perform the show twice at Harewood at 4.30pm and 6.45pm. It’s has sold out a venues across the UK and has picked up some rave reviews: “A typically inventive production from Illyria provided rich entertainment…a top quality outdoor show” Blackpool Gazette. The performance will be presented in a Covid-secure way, with social distancing and other systems in place to make it extremely safe for audiences to attend.
The story feature the exploits of some of literature’s favourite animal characters: Mole yearns for adventure, Rat adores boats and Badger likes peace and quiet. Into their lives bursts Toad who loves very fast cars and just can’t seem to help getting into trouble. But can the animals reform Toad’s character and evict the squatters from his ancestral home to restore justice to the world? Kenneth Grahame’s perennial classic is brought to the stage in Illyria’s inimitable style.
Perfect summer fun for everyone aged 5 to 105 and beyond!
